Rahma Gumel is an entrepreneur, poet, a community mobiliser, and gender and social activist. She describes her remarkable journey to empowerment as a girl in Northern Nigeria through the lines in her motivational poems. Her dreams to create more girls in her impressive image started with the study of microbiology and an advocacy for better access to healthcare and girl child education through her self-funded MUFRAH Foundation and a creative platform – the Art-Hub. Rahma is determined to make further impact on her chosen cause as she currently studies medicine at the Near East University (NEU) in Cyprus.
