Consistent with our mission to strengthen public health systems, improve access to quality healthcare services at the grassroots, and reduce inequality by building strategic partnerships with the public sector, the Foundation built a 50-bed capacity double hospital ward ensuite with service offices and toilets to serve as a Special Baby Care Unit (SCBU) for the care of neonates at the General Hospital in Hadejia, Jigawa State, North West Nigeria, in 2015.
