Amir Muhammad is a policy, governance, and information management professional serving as Head of Administration & Human Resources at Unik Impact Foundation. In this role, he provides leadership for organizational governance, HR systems, administration, communications, and operational support across all programs.

Amir brings experience across legislative affairs, public policy, digital transformation, and community development. He previously served as a Legislative Assistant with the Senate Chamber Directorate at Nigeria’s National Assembly, and as Head of Administration and Digital Operations at Sawaba Radio Hadejia. He is also an alumnus of the EU/PLAC Legislative Internship Programme.

At the intersection of policy, data, and technology, Amir has contributed to Hausa language technology, localization, and data management initiatives. He was selected as one of ten global fellows for the Equal Measures 2030 Global Storytelling with Gender Data Fellowship, where he used data to examine women’s under-representation in Nigerian politics.

Amir holds an M.Sc. in Information Management from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and a B.A. in English from Sule Lamido University, Kafin Hausa.
