Saratu Garba Abdullahi, from Birnin Kudu Local Government in Jigawa State, a PhD student of St Luios University in Saint Louis, Missouri, United States is one of the beneficiaries of Unik Impact Foundation’s special scholarship based on merit and scholarly achievements. She is a beacon of hope and inspiration for all girls across our state.
Saratu is a model of the future we hope to create for every girl child; a future of virtues, hardwork, opportunities and eventually empowerment.
Like the millions of girls we seek to inspire, Ms Abdullahi attended the Central Primary School in her native Birnin Kudu and then later Government Girls Secondary School Gwaram in Jigawa State. A General Nurse,
Midwife, and a
Nursing Educator, she is also proudly a holder of both Bachelor of Nursing Sciences and MSc. Community Health Nursing from the Teerthanker Mahaveer University Moradabad India. She holds an MBA from the Maryam Abacha American University of Niger.
She is an SLU Missouri trained Cognitive Behaviour and Cognitive Stimulation Therapist and is currently into MSc Social Works at the University of Missouri
