Unik Impact Foundation donated one unit of Fresenius 4008S Classic Haemodialysis Machine to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano, North West, Nigeria, in December 2020. This is in line with our strategic objectives of public private partnerships, health systems and resilience, and improving access and quality of healthcare services to the general population.
Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital is a regional health facility with core mandates in health research, manpower training, and advanced healthcare. Its haemodialysis unit was the second in the entire northern Nigeria and serves as a referral centre from many contigous states, in addition to conducting research and manpower training for health.
