On the 27th of October, 2018, Unik Impact Foundation in partnership with Iya Hauwa Foundation, distributed relief materials to the communities affected by floods in Auyo, Auyo Local Government Area of Jigawa State, North West Nigeria.
About a month earlier, flood waters had ravaged most of the communities around Auyo town and a few others in Kano Hausa and Miga, with hundreds crowded in makeshif camps facing acute shortages of food, medicine, and other household items Items distributed to hundreds of beneficiaries included various food stuffs, mats, and blankets.
